E-key consists of a username and password see example below:

Every student registered with Eastern Kentucky University has access to a free EKU email address if you haven't already activated your account, more information.
Your E-key account is a gateway to:
- Official communication via email from EKU administration and faculty.
- Accessing web space.
- Accessing Blackboard (EKU's course management system).
- Logging into computers in student technology labs, residence halls lobbies, and other general access computing labs on campus.
- Printing in computer labs all over campus.
- Accessing your free copy of Symantec Antivirus.
- Voting in student government elections.
- Accessing library databases from off-campus.
- Access to the Wireless Network.
Faculty & Staff E-key Account
E-key consists of a username and password see example below:
- Last name first initial - doej
E-key accounts are created upon completion of the Employee Account Request Form. Your E-key account username is usually last name first initial; you create a password when you complete the employee account request form. The account username and password is also used to access many other services at EKU.
